Snake Plant

  • Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of death; in winter, reduce watering to once a month or less.

  • While highly adaptable, they prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate low-light corners but will grow faster in brighter spots.

    • Toxicity: They are toxic to dogs, cats, and other pets, including hamsters and rabbits.

    • Symptoms: Ingestion typically leads to gastrointestinal distress, including vomiting and diarrhea.

  • Feed sparingly with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer).
